Jumbo Burgers

All around good spot. Being open as late as they are is awesome, staff are friendly enough, and having the hockey game on was cool. Although everyone has been telling me it's the best burgers in town, but I mean... Not even close. And I love a good greasy spoon, I don't need anything fancy. I was just a bit underwhelmed, I think a lot of the popularity comes from nostalgia more than anything.

Tasty food, quick service. Everything cooked fresh and to order. Even when it's busy, you're eating quickly. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. Elegant in its simplicity.

The same owners since 1972. They must be doing something right? When I eat here it's like going back in time. This is Canadian Soul food my friends. Only a few parking spaces next to restaurant. Best to walk or park on one of the side streets.

Great burgers and fries. Old school nice little place clean good location. Prices tough to beat under 10.00 dollars. Cheaper than fast food chains and you get a real burger not a frozen Patty. Go enjoy

Like the Jane bloor diner in terms of vibes- they use a charcoal grill and it is noticeably wonderful. Cash only but they have an ATM so not too bad. Very classic diner burger and fries. The orange and cream colours are nice- like sitting in an orange cream soda float.

If you're looking for an old-fashioned burger joint, this is the place - it's been here at least 25 years - possibly more, but I've only known about it for 25 - the banquet burger is highly recommended with a side of onion rings - the onion rings are legendary - Jumbo is open late and has great fast food - check it out - you won't regret it

The best Toronto style burgers in town. Fish and chips like a real fish and chip shop. The favorite place of all the west end telephone men for nearly 50 years. You guys have a real gold mine!

Not a bad old vintage joint! Lovely old men, don’t talk much but I never get a bad vibe from them. My boyfriend and I came here after our movie date, and we were hungry and it was late we came across this place. Ordered a burger with fries and gravy. My boyfriend ended up getting chicken souvlaki on a bun. We enjoyed our meal and we will be back for late night food!

Real old fashion burger join, juicy.Home made patties, big and crispy onion rings.No lettuce, and design very old fashion, need some upgrade.Very small join in the corner, parking also very hard.

Great old fashioned burger! Nothing fancy, just great char taste and big portions! Poutine was massive and delicious and onion rings were good too.

Great place to get a quick bite to eat. Totally old school with things done the old way. Charbroiled burgers , real fries! And yummy onion ringers among the things offered. Service is great.

Awesome old school little (very little) burger joint. Very happy the wife and I gave it a try when in the area. Gladly come back as I need to try other items on the menu considering how good everything was.

Burgers are made in-house, fries are freshly cut, they're using striploin for there steak sandwich. I enjoy going to this place, the only thing I would suggest is switching the bun for the steak sandwich to a longer one rather then using a round one. If the staff want to have a cigarette in the back outside (I have no problem with that, I'm a smoker myself) just make sure to close the door, this way the smell of smoke doesn't creep back into the restaurant.

This was the favourite burger place for my parents and their parents. Their food is scrumptious and the staff are very friendly. Growing up, it felt more like eating at a friend's place, but maybe that's because my parents were friends with the staff. They're doing a great job of keeping the burgers flowing and their customers safe during these times. Support local- grab a banquet burger with fries and a shake next time yourself craving some comfort food bliss!

This place is terrific. Burgers here are DELICIOUS, excellently sized, and inexpensive. The place to be for burgers & fries. They have a menu full of others options too, but God damn are their burgers GOOD! - I picked up a double patty hamburger last night

Nice people. The fries and burgers are good. The burgers could use a little more seasoning. Nonetheless, enjoyable.

They prepare your burger on a bare counter during COVID-19 & told me the counter is cleaned with blesch, my 1st & last time ordering there

Classic mom and pop burger shop. The owner told me he's been running the place for over 40 years and that everything is homemade. I got everything pictured for around 12 dollars. Highly recommended. Open until 2am 6 days a week.

This place has really good burgers. I once tried one with my mom and we really enjoyed it. The only thing is that there's only 1 location which is far from my house. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a quick and good burger.

If you like your burgers charbroiled on the grill, this may be the place for you. For me it's not...the meat was way over done, burned and dry. The double patties were falling apart and there was no real beef flavour, all I could taste is the burnt carbon. The bun was soft and fresh, the condiments were also fresh. I will maybe drop by one to try something else... Although in different parts of the city... I really believe Johnny's is a winner, winner chicken dinner for the old school classic charbroiled burger... Even Harveys over this one... Sorry to say....

Place with tradition. However need some deep cleaning. Employees work without hats and operating with food. Burgers are decent size and price is ok. There is few parking spots. Cash only. Also when they putting fresh meat on the grill they should were gloves. I checked when one of the workers lick his finger before he took paper for packing burger to go.
